I have been living in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina since 2006. From that time until recently, I have been mobilized as a Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves to various places including Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait. One of the reasons my spirits were high during those times is that I had a wonderful place to go home when my tours were finished. My husband and I, along with our dog Charley, enjoy exploring this wonderful area.
There are so many things to do and see in the mountains of North Carolina and Georgia. Most of all, these tranquil mountains offer a stress free atmosphere, away from all the hustle and bustle of the city life.
